According to Appendix VI of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP Regulation), the salts and esters of MCPA (ISO) are to be classified at least as Acute Tox. 4 (H332, H312, H302). If the user has data according to which the substance is to be classified as Acute Tox. 3 or higher, the substance must be assigned to an appropriate collective entry of Class 6.1.

In the State variation of Germany DE 5 (ICAO TI or DEG 05 IATA DGR), it is specified that all substances classified as "environmentally hazardous" in accordance with the provisions of other modes of transportation (UN3077/3082) must also be transported by air under this entry. Of course, this classification can be chosen only if the substance cannot be assigned to any entry of Classes 1-8 or any other entry of Class 9. The consignor reserves the right to make further specifications.
